Reading Strategies
The professional reading strategies tutor is a certified reading specialist who can work with students on a wide variety of reading strategies. Students can request an appointment if they are struggling with taking effective notes from texts, identifying the main ideas in texts, or reading certain types of texts. (Please note that this is a strategies-based service. Students who do not understand specific class content should work with a peer tutor for that course or see their professors in office hours.)
