Loyola’s graduate business programs ranked among best in nation

U.S. News & World Report ranked Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management among the 2026 Best Business Schools, tying for No. 87 in the country. Loyola’s Professional’s MBA, a part-time, evening MBA program designed for working professionals, tied for No. 74 of eligible schools nationally.
Earlier this year, the Professional’s MBA program, which offers a fully online option, was ranked No. 26 among the Best Online MBA Programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
“These rankings reflect our close ties to industry and the real-world relevance of a Loyola business education,” said Mary Ann Scully, MBA ’79, dean of Loyola’s Sellinger School of Business. “Our faculty include both academics consistently publishing relevant and impactful scholarship as well as experienced executives in residence leveraging their decades as practitioners. Both work hand in hand with business leaders to ensure our programs stay aligned with evolving professional demands. That collaboration helps our graduates advance their careers and make an immediate impact in their organizations.”
U.S. News & World Report determines the rankings based on expert opinions and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research, and students.
The Professional’s MBA provides optional pathways for students with specializations in applied artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital technologies, finance, interdisciplinary business, management, marketing, and real estate. Loyola’s Stackable MBA offers pathways unique in Maryland through five stackable credentials that can be acquired individually or combined for the full master’s degree.
Loyola’s Sellinger School of Business was also recognized recently with reaccreditation for its business and accounting degree programs by the International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only 6 percent of institutions offering business degrees worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation, a rigorous multiyear process.
