Congratulations to communication department lecturer and WTOP reporter Jenny Glick who was named as a 2020 Gracie Award recipient for her reporting on eating disorders, “Starving for Perfection.” The Gracie Award is a prestigious honor given by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation to recognize exemplary programming created by, for, and about women in radio, television, and interactive media.

Tania Cantrell Rosas-Moreno, Ph.D., has been named one of this year's recipients of Ragan PR's Top Women in Communications Award. The award honors an elite list of women who are advancing the communications industry, inspiring their coworkers and peers, and mentoring future generations of communication leaders. Dr. Rosas-Moreno has taught public relations and communication courses at Loyola for 10 years as well as having had a career in public relations.
