Mathematics Curriculum
Loyola's mathematics programs are distinctive in the variety of options available to the undergraduate student. The degree in mathematics has a general program as well as additional concentrations in applied mathematics, pure mathematics, and secondary education. These concentrations give our undergraduate majors the opportunity to focus in quantitative areas of interest, individualizing their experience. The Department also offers a minor in mathematics. Students have the flexibility to add a second major, and those who do often choose computer science, data science, or economics.
