Description: The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession through an annual scholarship program for Black/African American, Latinx, Native North American and Pacific Islander students. The scholarship award recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession. Scholarships range from $1,000-$4,000. Each applicant must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups: Black/African American, Latinx, Native North American, Pacific Islander. Must be enrolling as or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a U.S. accredited educational institution. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), emphasis on math or actuarial courses. Entering college freshmen must have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 620. Must be intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession.

Description: Stuart A. Robertson, FSA, MAAA (1918-2005) was a distinguished actuary who, along with Wendell Milliman, co-founded the actuarial and consulting firm Milliman & Robertson (now Milliman, Inc.). The Actuary of Tomorrow – Stuart A. Robertson Memorial Scholarship was established to honor his dedication to excellence and recognize his tremendously positive influence on the professional lives of many colleagues. The scholarship of up to $10,000 recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of undergraduate students pursuing a career in actuarial science. Applicants of the Actuary of Tomorrow - Stuart A. Robertson Memorial Scholarship must be full-time students at a U.S accredited educational institution, entering as a sophomore, junior or senior, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and must have successfully completed two actuarial exams.

Description: The CIA Undergraduate Scholarship Program is a financial needs-based initiative that offers undergraduate students an unmatched experience in a diverse and inclusive environment. Undergraduate students, serving as scholarship recipients with CIA, attend an accredited college/university on a full-time basis and work during summer breaks at the agency. Eligible applicants must: be at least 18; demonstrate financial need; have an ACT score of 21 or an SAT of 1000; be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate taking at least 12 credits per semester; have a 3.0 GPA; be available to work at least one 90-day summer tour prior to graduation and willingness to work at CIA full time after graduation; and, submit to a background check and be a US citizen.

Description: The BOTH scholarship is geared towards college students from the African Diaspora majoring in a business related field, who would like to continue their pursuit of the creative arts. The goal is to reassure students that they don’t have to choose only one path. We want students to know that they have the ability to build out two homes in their lives where they can be successful. We hope that students will use these funds to continue growing in their creative journey. But we by no means require students to use these funds in this way. This scholarship is primarily meant to inspire students to follow all of their dreams. Note that there are no GPA or test score requirements; this award is passion based.

Description: The Afghan-American Community Organization (AACO) is pleased to announce the fifth annual Afghan-American Community Organization Scholarship. We welcome Afghan-American students with financial need to apply for this scholarship. This scholarship is intended to support full-time students for the coming academic year. We are looking for traditional and non-traditional students who are leaders and committed to empowering the Afghan-American community. Description: Valentino DiGiorgio and his wife, Carolina DiGiorgio are thrilled to announce their family’s annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) scholarship recognizing students focused on continuing their education in these fields and using their skills to make a positive impact in their communities: the “Valentino DiGiorgio STEAM Scholarship”. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a high school (public, charter, private or home school) in any State in the U.S.A., Washington D. C. or Puerto Rico and must have a Grade Point Average of 3.5 or higher. Must demonstrate financial need and intent to pursue a STEAM Career (college, university, trade school). The Valentino DiGiorgio STEAM Scholarship is available to any student meeting the above criteria and having a sincere interest in STEAM. Interest can be demonstrated by sharing the student’s active involvement in STEAM activities, clubs and extracurricular activities, as well as work experience, internships and projects or innovations the student has completed.

Description: The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) offers the Eastern Regional Chapter Scholarship to students with a Korean heritage studying in the United States regardless of citizenship status (including Korean Nationals). Students who will be a full-time student at a school in one of the designated Eastern region states (Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia) are eligible to apply. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required, as well as demonstrated financial need.
