Become a Tutor

Thank you for showing an interest in tutoring with the Student-Athlete Support Services Office. Here is some information that you will need to know before applying for this position.

Academic Requirements:

Students must have be a sophomore or above, have a cumulative gpa of 3.00 and received a B or higher in the course they would like to tutor or received AP credit or passed out of the course. 

Interpersonal Skills:

• Tutors must be reliable, dependable, organized, punctual, friendly and have the ability to work well with others
• Tutors must be dedicated and willing to make a semester-long commitment to tutor with our office
• Tutors must firmly believe in the importance of academic integrity
• Tutors must uphold the privacy of the student-athletes and maintain confidentiality
