Brand Campaign

Alongside our refreshed Loyola Maryland brand, we're launching a long-term campaign rooted in the University's spirit, ambition, and sense of place. This campaign establishes a shared language for how we express the full Loyola Maryland experience. What follows are the campaign line, its custom typographic lockup, supporting headlines, and additional context to help develop further messaging.

Primary Messaging

Campaign tagline:

Moved To Be More

Everyone's college journey is unique, but every path has the power to create impact that's just as personal. Here, everyday experiences become chances to reflect, discover meaning, shape values, and broaden your perspective. Your time at Loyola Maryland will inspire you to explore, take action, and make a difference in ways that matter. Whatever "more" means to you, we'll help you find it. For yourself. For the community. For our world.

Style Note: When writing this tagline in standard applications, like press releases, social posts, headlines, and the like, capitalize every word: Moved To Be More. Strictly speaking, "to" as a preposition should remain lowercase per AP Style, but we found that "Moved To Be More" read as visually uneven. The capitalized version simply performs better for the eye, so we're making that exception intentionally.

Secondary Messaging

Supporting brand messaging, like these secondary headlines, expand on our big idea by providing additional context or elaborating on specific benefits. They also help to persuade the intended audience to engage further.

Shape the more you're meant for.
Here, any one person can be more than one thing.
Come as you are. Leave ready to change the world.

  • Use approved lockups only; do not recreate or re-typeset the tagline.
  • Select the configuration that best fits the format while preserving legibility and hierarchy.
  • Maintain the contrast between “MOVED” and “MORE” and “to” and “be” in all applications.
  • Do not replicate this casing in standard written applications.
  • Use the lockup as a campaign expression, not as a replacement for Loyola’s core identity marks.
  • Follow approved spacing guidelines when using the lockup alongside Loyola identity marks.
