Loyola University Maryland

White Oak

An arboretum is a collection of many different of trees and shrubs, grown together for study and/or display. In 2013, the Evergreen campus was designated an accredited arboretum by the Morton Register of Arboreta for the University’s dedication to nurturing and preserving dozens of tree species.

The Arboretum Committee has developed comprehensive tree care plans, walking tours for the community, and are developing new ways for our students to interact with, and learn from, the trees:

If you have enjoyed learning about the Arboretum and would like to be involved in its growth, please consider making a gift to support The Loyola University Maryland Arboretum.
