Biography
Ann Velasco is a Montessori Teacher Trainer for adults who wish to work with children 2 ½ - 6 years of age. She is certified through the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and conducts training courses that are accredited by AMI. Ms. Velasco has served as Director of Training for the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies based in Phoenix, Arizona since 2014. She has conducted training courses in Arizona, New Mexico and Costa Rica.
Ms. Velasco has served as a faculty member of the Loyola University of Maryland, School of Education, since 2015. In this capacity she has delivered coursework for students seeking to earn the Loyola Master of Education in Montessori Education (M.Ed. program).
