Biography

Victoria first joined The Hockessin Montessori School in 2008 in a teaching position as an Upper Elementary Teacher and took on her current position as Director of Admissions in 2015.  Throughout her career, Victoria has instructed children of various ages in different learning environments and adults through parent and teacher education programs.   In addition to teaching graduate courses for Wilmington University and Loyola University Maryland, Victoria serves on the Advisory Board for Loyola University of Maryland's School of Education and the Advisory Board for Loyola University's Center for Montessori Education, a Montessori Graduate program.  Victoria considers the Montessori classroom the ideal learning environment and finds its inclusive nature, a characteristic of Dr. Montessori’s approach for over one hundred years, a model for all learning environments.

Victoria is also a mother of two.  Her children also attend The Hockessin Montessori School, as they have since they were one year old.  Experiencing the Montessori Method as a parent has only deepened Victoria’s appreciation for this incredible approach to Education!
