Accelerated Program for Current Loyola Undergraduates

Current Loyola University Maryland undergraduate students, from any area of study, are welcome to apply to the M.A. in Emerging Media program beginning the spring semester of their junior year. Once accepted into the graduate program, current undergraduate students may take ME601, the 3-credit required introductory course for the Emerging Media program during the last semester of their undergraduate senior year. ME601 can count as an elective to meet graduate requirements and toward the Emerging Media graduate degree, with the approval of an academic advisor.

Loyola University Maryland students in their senior year are welcome to apply to the M.A. in Emerging Media program through a fast-track application, as well. The fast-track application allows you early acceptance into the program, following the completion of a bachelor's degree.

All undergraduate students who apply to the M.A. in Emerging Media need only to submit the following materials for a complete application:

  1. The Office of Graduate Admission Application
  2. An official transcript from Loyola University Maryland, as well as any transfer credits
  3. The Emerging Media essay
  4. The fast-track and accelerated admissions form

The $60 application fee is waived for all current Loyola University Maryland students and all Loyola undergraduate are eligible for the 15% Double Greyhound tuition discount for Loyola alumni.
