Herbert Lehman Education Fund

  • Deadline: April 1, 2022
  • Amount: $12,000

Description: The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund Herbert Lehman Scholarship Program awards are $3,000 per year,  over four years, for a total of $12,000 - provided funds are available. Scholars must remain in good academic standing and continue to meet the scholarship criteria in order to maintain eligibility. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, a first-year student in an accredited four-year college, or a student transferring into an accredited four-year college, students beginning as a junior are not eligible.

Be Bold Scholarship

The $25,000 “Be Bold” Scholarship is a no-essay scholarship that will be awarded to the applicant with the boldest profile.

Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance Foundation Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 1, 2022
  • Amount: $1,500

Description: The AFWA offers a variety of Undergraduate and Master's scholarships for women in finance and accounting. For Undergraduate/5-Year Degree Scholarships, the awards are presented to students who have completed their sophomore year of college (or 60 semester hours or the equivalent) by the time of the application deadline and are majoring in accounting or finance. Candidates must have a minimum cumulative college grade point average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent. Scholarship candidates will be reviewed on leadership, character, communication skills, scholastic average, and financial need. Each year, a few outstanding scholars are selected from the Undergraduate and Master's scholarship applicants to receive the prestigious Paula Zanni Award. Although membership in AFWA is not required, an endorsement by a member or Chapter of AFWA may increase the chances of earning a scholarship.

Bill Davis Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 1, 2022
  • Amount: $500

Description: Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student, be a student of color (i.e., Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Asian, American Indian, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander) and be enrolled at an AJCU member institution (Loyola University Maryland is an AJCU member). ABA Academic Merit Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 2, 2022
  • Amount: $5,000

Description: The American Bus Association Academic Merit Scholarship is open to both ABA and non-ABA Members. To be eligible, candidates will have completed, at a minimum, their first year of an accredited university (4-year university/college or junior college); must have a declared major or course of study relevant to the transportation, travel and tourism industry; must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.

NGA Foundation Scholarships

  • Deadline: April 4, 2022
  • Amount: Varies

Description: Scholarships are available to rising college freshmen through postgraduate studies (must be enrolled at the time of payment to be considered). Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. or 4-year-degree-granting institution (including relevant postgraduate studies), majoring in Business, Food Management, IT or other focuses leading to a career in grocery. Experience in the grocery industry is preferred but not required.

ELC Scholarship Program

  • Deadline: April 15, 2022

Description: Through the generous support of our corporate partners, The ELC again expands its scholarship programs to support the academic success of more than 130 Black students in 2022. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills and a commitment to community service. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to community service. In addition to receiving a scholarship award, selected recipients are invited to participate in The ELC’s Honors Symposium, a multi-day professional development experience offering exclusive career development and networking opportunities.

Asparagus Club Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 20, 2022
  • Amount: $8,000

Description: The Asparagus Club awards a maximum of ten scholarships per year. Each scholarship is $2,000 per semester not to exceed four consecutive semesters. Recipients must retain full-time student status and earn at least a 2.5 GPA to earn a scholarship each semester/quarter. Eligible applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students who are earning a degree in a business, food management, or other relevant courses of study leading to a career in the independent retail grocery industry.

CBC Spouses Education Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 30, 2022

Description: This opportunity awards scholarships to academically talented and highly motivated full-time African-American or Black students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, exhibit leadership, and be active in their community.

CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship

  • Deadline: April 30, 2022
  • Amount: Varies

Description: This award is for full time African-American or Black students pursuing a degree in visual arts including, but not limited to, architecture, ceramics, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, sketching, video production and other decorative arts.

AFAS General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program

  • Deadline: April 30, 2022
  • Amount: Varies

Description: The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program is offered to eligible Air Force dependents. Grants are awarded to selected sons and daughters of Active Duty, Title 10 AGR/Reserve, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, Retired, Retired Reserve and deceased Air Force members; spouses of Active Duty members and Title 10 AGR/Reservists; and surviving spouses of deceased personnel for their full-time undergraduate studies.
