Life in the residence halls is built on a foundation of inclusion and community development where students foster a sense of belonging within an interdependent living environment.

Over 100 student life staff members live inside the residence halls with you helping you pursue academic excellence, build healthy and meaningful relationships, develop personal growth and well-being, and build skills to create a more socially just and equitable environment at Loyola and beyond.

Each residential area is led by a full-time master's level assistant director and 2-4 graduate residence coordinators, and every resident is assigned a resident assistant (R.A.) to help navigate the year as a peer mentor.

Our R.A.s plan over 1,000 community development events and initiatives every year. Explore this site to learn more about what's happening in your hall.
