Biography

Linda has both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Loyola University Maryland, including a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She began her career in public accounting with the firm known today as PWC, where she attained her CPA and served on the audit team. While pursuing her MSF degree in Loyola's part-time evening program, she worked for Black and Decker and then at Jiffy Lube in accounting and finance leadership roles. Subsequently, Linda spent 20 years at Marriott International (a Fortune 250 company) in various accounting, corporate finance, and development positions, including serving as Chief Accounting Officer (CAO); Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the timeshare business; Executive Vice President (EVP) of Mergers and Acquisitions; EVP of Global Asset Management; and CFO of International Lodging. During her tenure at Marriott, she visited over 30 countries and territories for which she was responsible for managing hotel, regional, and international finance functions; she also negotiated the acquisitions of the London J.W. Marriott Grosvenor House hotel and the Dublin Shelbourne hotel. After working at Marriott, Linda served as CAO and head of corporate development for Intelsat, where she was the finance team leader for its initial public offering. Most recently, she worked at the Pew Charitable Trusts as its CFO, where she managed the finance, accounting, information systems, and contracting functions, including responsibility for the management of an investment portfolio of over $1 billion. Linda was an affiliate finance instructor in Loyola's undergraduate and graduate programs during the 2021-2022 academic year. She previously served for three years on the Board of Sponsors for the Sellinger School.
