Undergraduate Diversity Advisory Board
The Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) is a dedicated group of undergraduate students committed to amplifying student voices on matters of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ). Serving as advisors, liaisons, and problem solvers, board members work in collaboration with the Office of Equity and Inclusion to advance the university’s mission of equity and help cultivate a community of belonging for all students.

Our Mission
The Diversity Advisory Board works to create meaningful change by engaging in dialogue, advocating for student needs, and supporting initiatives that enhance equity and inclusion across campus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as ambassadors and thought partners for the Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI).
- Collaborate with OEI, campus partners, and student groups to address key DEIJ issues affecting students.
- Increase student awareness of DEIJ initiatives, resources, and opportunities for engagement.
- Utilize restorative practices to foster dialogue, strengthen intergroup relationships, and support community building.
- Integrate the university’s DEIJ Guiding Principles into decision-making, ensuring a continuous focus on equity and inclusion.
