Paid Time Off / Leave Accrual Rates

Full-time Administrators

Vacation and sick leave hours are accrued each pay period. Your vacation and sick leave begins to accrue on your hire date; however, no vacation will be paid during the 180 day provisional period. Sick leave will be paid after 90 days of the provisional period. No other paid leave is available to you, except holiday pay, during this provisional period. Vacation and sick accruals will automatically stop accruing once leave balances have reached the maximum number of hours allowed. The accrual balance on your paycheck is 1 pay period behind. To get the current accrual balance log in to Inside.Loyola and view your leave summary or add your accrual rate (refer to the chart below for "Hours accumulated per pay") to the balance shown on your pay stub. Employees will not accrue vacation or sick leave hours while on an unpaid leave of absence.
