The University’s student employment program provides a rewarding work experience for students and supplements departmental staffing needs. It is time to think about your student support needs for the next academic year.
As we plan for next year’s program we would like to remind you of the University’s commitment to hiring Federal Work-Study students. Students who are eligible for FWS assistance depend on the money they earn through this program to meet a portion of their demonstrated financial need. As a reminder, approved work study positions are available for work-study eligible students only.
Student positions are not guaranteed from one year to the next. In order to request consideration of your work study needs, you should gather documentation that includes the number of positions needed and type of responsibilities. To make your request, please complete the Student Request Form below.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Human Resources at ext. 1371.
All fields marked with * are required.
(Please describe the scope of responsibility for each job title that you are requesting, i.e., student office assistant, tutor, library assistant, etc. Please submit a separate form for each position, not for each student filling a position.)
Financial Aid and Human Resources are considering allowing FWS for Summer work and would like to gauge interest. Any hours worked through 6/30 would come out of the previous year’s award and 7/1 the following year’s award.
If you have any additional questions, please contact Human Resources at ext. 1371.
