Merit-Based Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships are awarded to Professional's MBA, Emerging Leaders MBA, and Master of Accounting students based on prior academic excellence.

Ignatius Grants

Ignatius Grants are awarded to Professional's MBA, Emerging Leaders MBA, and Master of Accounting students based on dedication to the Jesuit mission and potential for success in the program.

Merit-based scholarships or Ignatius Grant recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of at least 3.00 for all programs. Recipients from the Professional’s MBA program must also maintain half-time enrollment (six credits each for the Fall and Spring semesters). Applicants must have completed a graduate program application before they can be considered for an award.

How to Apply

All applicants are considered for merit-based scholarships or Ignatius Grants. A separate application is not required. Please submit a completed program application, including all supplemental documents, by the priority application deadlines for consideration:

Professional’s MBA

  • Fall Semester: July 1
  • Spring Semester: November 1
  • Summer Semester: March 1

Emerging Leaders MBA

  • Fall Semester: February 1

Master of Accounting

  • Summer Entry: March 1
  • Fall Entry: June 1

Award Notification

Award recipients will be notified at the time of acceptance.

School of National Service Americorps Matching Grant

Loyola offers a $1,000 matching grant ($500 a semester for the first two semesters) to AmeriCorps volunteers who are accepted and enroll in a Loyola University Maryland degree seeking graduate program.
