Give Back: Danielle Louise Golom Commitment to Justice Award

The psychology department at Loyola University Maryland is committed to the professional training and development of clinical mental health practitioners in the Ignatian tradition of cura personalis, which endorses the educational mission of Loyola and challenges students to "learn, lead, and serve in a diverse and changing world."

In conjunction with our 2022 Milestone Anniversary Weekend and since then, we have raised over $25,000 for current graduate students with a demonstrated interest in pursuing clinical mental health practices with marginalized and vulnerable populations. Once endowed ($50,000), annual awards will be given to graduate students enrolled in either the Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) or the Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling (CPC) programs. These students will work directly with underserved communities that could benefit from mental health services.
