Advising in Psychology

Students who major in psychology benefit from close relationships with caring faculty. Each student in psychology is assigned one Faculty Academic Advisor with whom they are encouraged to meet throughout their undergraduate career. For example, a student might connect with their Faculty Academic Advisor to discuss different career pathways in psychology, how to plan for graduate school, or how to maximize their experience as a major.

All psychology majors also meet with Mr. Patrick LoPresto, M.A., L.C.P.C, our Director of Undergraduate Student Professional Development, during registration. Mr. LoPresto is our department's point person for course registration, and he provides exceptional support for our majors as they navigate the curriculum.
