Community Connections

Bench in Baltimore reading "The Greatest City in America"; two women pose for a photo at the Govans Farmers' Market

We understand that the Counseling Center lives and operates within Baltimore, which yields opportunities for advocacy and collaboration. On our website, we have a “Comprehensive Referral Assistance” that we use to connect students to mental health professionals in the community. Other opportunities for connections are:

  • Continuous building of networks with mental health and health care providers in Baltimore
  • Establishing relationships with community advocates
  • Joint trainings with area universities
