Online Scheduling

Support starts here! The Counseling Center offers many options for students seeking support beyond individual counseling. Explore resources and services that you can access today to begin your wellness journey.”

Due to the current surge in COVID-19 cases, the Counseling Center will offer telehealth services only for the start of the Spring 2022 semester to insure the safety of both students and Counseling Center staff. Initial Appointments and Let’s Talk appointments may only be scheduled as telehealth sessions at this time. When it is safe to resume in-person sessions, options for scheduling in-person Initial Appointments and Let’s Talk appointments will be added to the online scheduling site. Students who reside outside the state of Maryland and are postponing their return to campus, are eligible for Let’s Talk appointments only while away from campus, due to state licensing laws.

Online scheduling is available for current enrolled full time Loyola undergraduate and graduate students who currently reside in Maryland, for the following appointment types:

  • Initial Appointments: first-time appointment for assessment and recommendations, which may include group counseling, workshops, brief individual counseling, and/or comprehensive referral support.
  • Let’s Talk Appointments: one-time, solution-focused appointment with a counselor to address a specific concern.

Our online scheduling system is available during business hours only, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-5 pm EST. You may choose to schedule an appointment as an in-person session in the Counseling Center, Humanities 150, or as a telehealth session via Zoom. All other appointments are scheduled by calling the Counseling Center at 410-617-2273. View our Services page to learn more about the full range of options offered at the Counseling Center. To schedule a first time appointment please select the menu option "Online Scheduling for a First-time appointment.

When in-person sessions resume we require the use of face masks always covering your nose and mouth. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been recently exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, or have been asked to quarantine for COVID-19 at the time of your in-person appointment, please call the Counseling Center at 410-617-2273 prior to your appointment to discuss options for rescheduling or telehealth sessions.

You will receive an email from the Counseling Center prior to your appointment with instructions to complete brief introductory forms, and a Zoom link for telehealth sessions. Forms are to be completed prior to the start of your appointment after you have received instructions via email from the Counseling Center. Please do not attempt to compete forms until you have received instructions to do so.

Online scheduling is not intended for emergency or crisis concerns. If you are in crisis or need immediate support, call the Counseling Center during business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5pm EST at 410-617-2273. After-hours and weekends, call the After-Hours Crisis Line at 410-617-5530 or 911. You always get a live counselor, every single time after hours at 410-617-5530. But if call volume is high that means you might wait a few minutes for the next available counselor. Don’t hang up, your call is important and will be answered.

If you need assistance with scheduling, please call the Counseling Center at 410-617-2273.
