Management isn't just a title. It's a set of human skills, including building trusting relationships, developing adaptive talent, leading high-performing teams, exercising sound judgment, and driving positive change. In short, it’s the human advantage in an era defined by artificial intelligence. Loyola’s management major prepares you to put these skills into practice from your very first role as a coordinator, analyst, consultant, or team member. You’ll understand how organizations really work, how people perform at their best, and how to make things happen through others.

What drives people at work? Why do some teams thrive while others struggle? The interdisciplinary major in Management and Psychology puts those questions at the center of your education. By combining organizational theory with the science of human behavior, you'll build an unusually deep foundation for careers in human resource management, organizational development, and human capital consulting — or for graduate study in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Organizational Behavior. Students should declare this major by their sophomore year.
