General Notes
- Please do not request to take the final exam during the regular class period. It is
expected that regular class work continues through the last class of the term, Monday,
April 27, 2026.
- The exam is held in the same room in which the class regularly meets, unless the instructor
informs you otherwise.
Conflicts should be resolved with the instructor involved; if this is impossible,
please consult the department chair.
- Students must obtain the prior approval of their instructors to change an exam date
or time.
- Exam periods are usually for three hours; however, the time limit for an exam may
be less than three hours (in a few special cases, an exam may require more than three
hours).
- Students who are guilty of dishonesty in an exam may incur the penalty of failure
in the course or for the exam.
Refer to the Honor Code for procedure for reporting violations of the Honor Code.
- The exam schedule for schools participating in the Baltimore Student Exchange Program
differs from Loyola's.
- SENIORS intending to graduate May 2026 who are taking courses at one of the Baltimore Student
Exchange Program institutions must arrange to have the final grade submitted to the
Office of the Registrar at Loyola University Maryland no later than noon on May 12,
2026. DIPLOMAS WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL OFFICIAL FINAL GRADES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
