The Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families (DVMF) is an executive agency
dedicated to supporting veterans, service members, and their families through life’s
transitions.
Army ROTC: Greyhound Battalion
Founded in 1952 as one of the nation’s earliest ROTC programs, our program offers
students a supportive, close-knit community of cadets, alumni, and legacy families.
Cadets are challenged to excel academically, supported every step of the way, and
graduate with strong leadership skills and outstanding career outcomes—most securing
their top job choice. Academic success comes first, preparing students to lead with
confidence on campus and beyond.
