Leadership Essentials from ASPIRE
Leadership Essentials is a six-month leadership development program, offered in cohorts through ASPIRE: Loyola University Maryland’s Center for Continuing Education, in collaboration with Leadership Howard County and area organizations. The program runs from December through June.
Leadership Essentials is targeted at rising stars and emerging leaders in the beginning and middle of their careers. Approximately 20-25 individuals will be selected to participate in the cohort program.
Designed to address the critical gap between the skills provided by formal education and the full development of seasoned professionals, Leadership Essentials offers a skill-building program that includes three components: workshops, individual coaching, and team-based projects to address the needs of local non-profit organizations.
Loyola University Maryland awards 90 hours of professional development credits for Leadership Essentials and 9 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). A CEU is not equivalent to a graduate or undergraduate course; however it is evidence of professional study as recognized by Loyola University Maryland.
About the Program
